How it works

From appointment to payment, step by step

This is the full journey of an instruction. On the left, what you do; on the right, what is already done when you get there.

  1. 1

    Appointment

    What you do

The court appointment or a law firm's instruction arrives.

    What is already done

You open the case file and it gets its sequential reference — EXP-2026-0001 — which will never be reused, not even if you delete the file.

  2. 2

    Accepting the appointment

    What you do

You have five days to accept. After that, there is no instruction.

    What is already done

The acceptance filing comes out written with the court, the proceedings, the parties and your professional registration. You sign it and file it.

  3. 3

    Funds on account

    What you do

You ask for funds before starting work.

    What is already done

The request is generated from the case budget and recorded as money owed to you, so you do not forget to chase it.

  4. 4

    Inspection and analysis

    What you do

You inspect, measure, analyse. This is your work, and the only part nobody does for you.

    What is already done

Deadlines run in the diary ordered by urgency, and every document you gather is stored in the case file with its fingerprint.

  5. 5

    The report

    What you do

You write the technical substance: what you examined, by what method and what you conclude.

    What is already done

The structure is already there: the sections the law requires, your specialty's own block and the art. 335.2 LEC declaration in its place.

  6. 6

    Delivery

    What you do

You export the report and file it.

    What is already done

Before exporting, the review warns you about any half-finished section. It comes out in Word or PDF and is stored with its fingerprint.

  7. 7

    Ratification

    What you do

You appear and defend your report in court.

    What is already done

The case file keeps what was delivered and its fingerprint, so you arrive knowing exactly what you signed and when.

  8. 8

    Fees and payment

    What you do

    Fee notes and invoices.

    What is already done

The invoice comes out with its sequential number, its withholding and its disbursements. The accounting entry posts itself, and the quarterly return fills up without you doing a thing.

And when the quarter comes, it is already done

The 303, 390 and 130 returns come out of what you have invoiced and spent across these eight steps. Nothing has to be typed anywhere again.
